Omg, guys.... I'm so sorry I haven't been doing a very stellar job of updating and keeping things rolling. I got a little bit caught up in life for the past few weeks, but it looks like things can return to normal now.

On that note, you can all yell at me. I have not been exercising or eating very well the past few weeks. I just lost... all motivation. But the holidays are approaching, and so is Ohayocon, and it's imperative that I be in good shape by Ohayo. I have a skinny costume to fit into, and my fitting for my wedding dress is next month as well. Wish me luck! It's time for us all to get back on track!

Oh yeah! Major kudos to Gelly!! She joined a gym and has been attedning yoga classes! Yo go girl! ^_~

So, here's my daily "input," so to speak.  It's not healthy, I know, but I really didn't have much of a choice.  We're extremely broke right now.  Instead of paying for groceries, I'm going to AWA/JF.

Breakfast: none, felt bad and didn't get up early enough

Lunch: 2 scrambled brown eggs (taste better!) with cheese, 2 mini Riece's peanut-butter cups

Dinner: double cheeseburger and med. fries from Burger King  (Subway line was SO long, and practice was going on)

I am having such a problem eating healthy lately!  It really bothers me, but since we can't afford to even buy groceries, I don't have much of a choice about it.  As soon as we can, though, I promise that I will be back to health food.  I'm also feeling so down thanks to the thyroid problems.  My appointment is Oct. 2nd to have the labwork done, so if it comes back as what I suspect, I might be put on medicine for the rest of my life.  I'm prepared to deal with that, though.  I just want to get better.  I'm to the point that I can barely get through the Para2Mahou special performance without literally falling out.  I'm sick of being sick!!  o.o  Steps to right this evil problem are being taken, so I guess it's up to patience and the hope that the only thing wrong with me is my thyroid.

Today, was not a very7 healthy day for the fact that my medicine makes me not want to eat.. So all I have had was two Regular tacos from taco Hell.. Bad I know.. But I've been taking plenty of vitamins to make up for my loss of appetite and drinking mostly water all day.

My excercise right now consists of twice a week aerobic dance with about twenty minutes of conditioning my legs/abs/arms afgterward... Para Para for about 30 min a day.. and running to almost all of my classes so i'm not late!

I need a better routine! But i can't do anytrhin until I get off of these drugs.. they make me feel detatched from the rest of the earth and they kill my appetite!

I will also be monitoring my progress on quitting smoking here as well... I cheated today and had two Marlboro UltraLights.. but, I think that's kick ass since I was up to a pack and a half a day      for awhile!

Progress Reports

Since we're all supposed to be working hard to be healthy, and some of us are trying to shed inches and pounds, I think it would be great to post progress reports once a week. Let's say.... every Sunday or Monday? That way we can keep a running record of how we are doing. Sometimes it really helps to see it in writing. If you had a rough week and didn't keep up with your eating habits or exercise, you really don't realize it until you see "Oh crap. I gained 5 pounds BACK." No one HAS to do this, but I think it would help out a lot for all of us.

For those of us in the Nashville area, there's a GREAT gym you should check out. FemGym is a women's only workout center RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET from where I live! They have amazing rates- $15 a month for unlimited access! This is a good deal when compared to similar places like Curves, which charges about $70-80 a month. XD Gelly and I are thinking about going maybe next month and joining, it'd be great to have other exercise buddies so we don't have to go alone!

The Simplest Diet Ever

Taken from the Oct. issue of "Modern Brides".

This is a GREAT TOTALLY AWSOME meal plan guide. It simply takes a meal you would normally eat and teaches you how to change it to make it more healthy, and it even tells you how many calories you are NOT consuming by making the change. I was just going to scan it, but I don't have a scanner at the moment... so yeah. It's a week long program, so there are 7 different types of each meal. I've divided it by meal, for easier browsing.
Of course, there are somethings that you can substitue if you wish. They reccomend lots and lots of water drinking- but sometimes a diet coke is okay. Just remember if you have a Diet Coke, to drink an extra glass of water that day. 8 glasses a day minumum, kids!!!
